Short version: there are no accounts, and Shoulda Started does not store your data on a server.

What happens when you use the site

• You type a Sleeper username or open a league. Your browser asks Sleeper's public API for that league's data. Sleeper sees that request, including your IP address, under Sleeper's own privacy policy.
• The reports are calculated in your browser. The usernames, league IDs and results are not sent to us, unless you share a link (see below).
• Fonts and code are served from this site. We do not load third-party fonts or trackers.

What is saved on your device

The names and IDs of leagues you recently opened are saved in your browser's local storage so the home page can offer a shortcut. It never leaves your device. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.

Ads and analytics

This site does not currently show ads or use analytics. If that changes (for example Google AdSense or cookie-free analytics), this page will be updated first, and consent will be asked for wherever the law requires it.

Shared images

The image of a penalty report is created in your browser. It is not uploaded anywhere unless you choose to share it yourself.

Shared links

When you choose Share link or Copy link, the link carries a short summary of that one report, league week or season: team and league names, the week or season length, and the headline numbers. It is public Sleeper data that you are choosing to send. When someone pastes the link into a chat, the chat app asks this site for a preview, and our server reads the summary in the link to write it. We do not save the summary, the preview or who asked for it. The link itself opens the live report, calculated in the visitor's browser as usual.
